"On a Sunny Day" Picnic in the Bay
Meet on the Beach Reserve at Brick Bay, Sandspit at 11am.

Here we will enjoy our own special picnic lunch. Bring a wrapped labeled gift for the Women's Refuge.

Tuesday January 19th
"We're in for a Big Surprise"
Meet at Shoesmith Street at 9.30 or Matakana ready to travel to Matakana Road.

Visit the first garden for BYO morning tea, then on to a 50 acre surprise garden where you may wander all you wish. Sturdy walking shoes recommended. Raffle. Trading Table.

Tuesday February 16th
"Tasting at Tamahunga
Carpool 9.15 Matakana Hall for 9.30 departure.

We will be visiting Villa Tamahunga for olive oil tasting and a chance to enjoy spectacular views from the terraced garden and also visiting 2 other gardens in the area. Sturdy shoes recommended. BYO morning tea. Raffle. $7.00 pp.

Tuesday March 16th
"Kumeu and Beyond"
Meet 8.45am Shoesmith Street for bus departure at 9am.

We travel first to Kumeu where will will visit two gardens, one 2 acres and one 5 acres plus donkey and llamas. After lunch we travel to Kaipara Coast Plant Centre and Sculpture Gardens. Stroll along a 1 km trail in a tranquil rural oasis. BYO morning tea and lunch. Cost $22 pp plus optional $8 for sculpture trail payable on the day. Raffle.

Although the show was held on Friday 13th November, the Town Hall was awash with colour. The coldest October for many years was reflected in fewer entries than previous years, as the weather had put the flowering season behind schedule but there were plenty of beautiful blooms.
